Skope

Get a virtual card with USDC

Turn USD Coin (USDC) into a virtual Visa card on Base in seconds, then pay online without moving through a bank first. Skope is non-custodial.

How funding with USDC works

USDC on Base is what the card is funded with directly, so there's no conversion step. If your USDC is on another chain or you hold a different stablecoin, the in-app funding step bridges or swaps it to Base USDC first.

Steps

  1. Connect your wallet and choose your card amount in USD.
  2. Fund with USDC (bridged/swapped to Base USDC if needed).
  3. Generate the virtual Visa card and use it online.

FAQ

Can I get a virtual card with USDC?
Yes. USDC on Base is what the card is funded with directly, so there's no conversion step. If your USDC is on another chain or you hold a different stablecoin, the in-app funding step bridges or swaps it to Base USDC first. The card is then ready to use at most online merchants that accept Visa.
Do I have to sell my USDC?
To fund a card you convert USDC into USD spending power. If you'd rather keep your position, you can instead borrow USDC against supported crypto and spend that; see "spend without selling".
Where can I use the card?
At most online merchants that accept Visa. It's a Non-Reloadable U.S. prepaid card, and some merchants don't accept prepaid cards.

Skope issues a Non-Reloadable U.S. prepaid Visa card via Laso Finance. It works at most online merchants that accept Visa; some merchants do not accept prepaid cards. Skope is non-custodial and never holds your funds. This page is for general information only and is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
